Belarus

- Possibilities to expand but KK is forbidden in Belarus.
- Open churches in training new leaders, but the religious law prohibits any activities.
Bulgaria
- We need committed people.
- We need resources for teen leaders, creative prayer...
- We need staff.
- We have a lot of invitations and not enough finances for traveling around the Country.
Latvia
- Not enough staff.
- Lack of finances.
- Need transportation.
Romania
- Youth ministry center.
- Further opportunities for training people in Romania.
- Long-term staff needed.
- Better collaboration with the local churches and the whole body of Christ from Romania.
Russia (Perm)
- Please pray for greater commitment on the part of participants in our year-round program. Many begin the year with zeal and energy only to drop out by the end of the year. Pray for wisdom for us in how to better meet their needs and make the program more interesting and fulfilling.
- Finances are a continual problem for participants in our summer camps and outreaches. Many youth are too discouraged by the costs to even try. Please pray for Russians to begin investing in their youth and the Kingdom of God by contributing to these young people's fees. Pray also for greater faith and a revelation of God's provision for our youth.
- The majority of our participants come from broken and unbelieving families. Our desire is to reach out to the families as well as the youth, but we need wisdom and strategy to do this. Pray also that we will be joined by staff with training and experience in family ministries.
- Please pray for greater cooperation and partnership with the local church in Perm. While most pastors are pleased to allow their youth to participate, their partnership with us ends there. Others are threatened by King's Kids and don't allow their youth to participate, despite our attempts to reach out to them and serve them and their churches.
Ukraine
- King's Kids was active in Kiev from 1995 to 1998. We returned to Kiev to re-pioneer KK in June 2002. We are rebuilding relationships with churches and other ministries. Our greatest challenge is in recruiting a whole new staff team and a whole new group of kids after being away for so many years.
General
- For long-term staff and leaders.
- For people with a vision for nations without a KKI work.
- Lack of support for national staff.
- Lack of funds for participants to join programs.
- Visas (it's very difficult for Eastern Europeans to obtain visas for other European countries and even for Westerners to obtain visas for certain Eastern European countries (former communist nations).
- Laws restricting "religious" work. (In for example Belarus and Russia).
- Local & National ministries throughout region have inadequate or no facilities.
- Lack of funding for our regional office in Budapest (administration, coordination, travel, projects, etc.).
