Pass It On - the passion of young Swiss Christians
27 December 2006 - 1 January 2007

It is the last week of 2006, in a St.Gallen hospital. A 19 years old young man is visiting. He doesn't know anybody here and offers prayer to patients. When asked what makes him do that, he answers: "I sensed that God asked me to."
The young man did not come from another world, but participated at the PraiseCamp which took place from 27 December until 1 January. Just as four years ago, the participants and staff spent six packed days at the OLMA exhibition halls and on the streets of St.Gallen. The theme Pass It On reflected the camp's focus: The 1300 young Christians, they were from many church backgrounds and from all over German-speaking Switzerland and neighboring countries, experienced God in many ways, and they wanted to pass it on.
Sponsored by King's Kids, Campus Crusade for Christ and the Youth Alliance, many dynamic leaders from churches and mission organisations had bonded together and prepared an intense program for 13 to 22 years olds. Days with services in the morning and the evening as well as seminars, concerts and prayer times on the streets in the afternoon all contributed to massive reports towards the end of the week: Many young people shared about what they had experienced with God and how this had changed their lives.
Some of the highlights of the camp were messages from Matthias Kuhn who called for a life of radically following Jesus and from Geri Keller, who could report to the young listeners on many years of God's amazing moving.

There were a number of inputs from abroad: Next to the Chilean missionary who lives in a refugee camp in Western Algeria, there was the impressive Saleim Kahleh who grew up as a Muslim and later turned to the Christian faith. DNA from Puerto Rico spread Latin-American joy and the message of God's love with music and dance; not only at the PraiseCamp halls, but also on the squares of St.Gallen. Out there, they were not the only ones, for hundreds of participants prayed for people, distributed Jesus movies and invitation leaflets to the party worship meeting on 30 December. Many people from outside attended it, and God touched many with his love, about which the bands and the preacher had talked so clearly.
The camp ended with a New Year's service of a special kind. Besides sweeping worship and personal testimonies, Matthias Spiess and Peter Reusser once again pointed out what the heart of the camp was: "Of course, we are thinking about another PraiseCamp. But what is mostly important to us is for you to follow Jesus in everyday life, to pass on what you have experienced and to grow into your calling." PraiseCamp showed just how alive and strong the movement of young Swiss Christians is. And it raised the hopes that Switzerland will be influenced by young people like the young praying man at the hospital for a long time to come. Pass It On!
KKI Poland outreach. Summer 2005

In KKI Poland we experienced miracle after miracle and blessing after
blessing this summer. God provided for us to be able to take 20 of our youth
to the KKI "Boomerang Tour" in Holland. We were there for 3 weeks and had
such an awesome time with the Lord working on a team level and individual
level.
God even healed one of our guys from leukaemia after a DTS team from Holland
was in Poland in January and laid hands and prayed for him to be healed. He
dreamed about travelling and did not want to die before he was able to see
places and so God healed him and he was able to come with us to Holland and
have a life changing experience!!!
Story after story of how God intervened - He is so good and loves each one
of us so much!!! We returned to Poland August 12th with a fresh vision of
the Lord and unity in our team as we have never experienced!!!
We look forward to this new year that God has for us as we begin meeting in
our weekly club.
